Who we are
Skincare Edit (skincareedit.com) is Melanie Grant's online skincare store. It is operated by, and products are sold by, Boutique Clinics Pty Ltd (ABN 61 166 189 813), 2 Bay Street, Double Bay NSW 2028, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at skincareedit@melaniegrant.com.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this store and to products you buy from it. They work together with our Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. They are the same terms as the Terms of Sale for this country on melaniegrant.com. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Using the store
You may use the store for lawful, personal purposes only. Please keep your account details secure and give us accurate information when you order. We may suspend or change the store, or any part of it, and may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably need to, for example where a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order, we will refund any payment taken.
Products and information
We take care to describe products accurately. Product information, including ingredients and claims, comes from the brands we stock, and packaging may change; always read the label before use. Colours and textures may look slightly different on screen.
Advice on this store, from our team or in our content, is general in nature and is not medical advice. Patch test new products, and speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin condition, or use prescription skincare. If you have a reaction, stop using the product and seek advice.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you order. If we find an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch, and you may cancel for a full refund.
Your order
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms we have received your order but does not form a contract. A binding contract arises when we send an email confirming that your order has been dispatched.
Delivery
Delivery timeframes, charges, and the treatment of any customs and import duties are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Returns, refunds and your rights
Our Returns Policy explains how to return a product, and what we offer beyond the law.
Your consumer guarantees. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for any purpose we have represented, and match their description. If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to choose a refund or a replacement, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the product, or provide a refund, within a reasonable time. These rights are not limited by the time frames in our Returns Policy.
Gift cards, promotions and loyalty
Gift cards, promotional codes and loyalty rewards are subject to the terms shown with them at the time they are issued.
Reviews, comments and third-party links
If you submit a review or comment, it must be genuine, lawful and about your own experience; we may moderate or remove content that is not. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Intellectual property
The content on this store, including text, images and the Melanie Grant and Skincare Edit names, belongs to us or our licensors. Please do not copy or reuse it without our permission.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss arising from misuse of a product or from not following its directions or a patch-test recommendation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of the Australian state or territory where you live.
