My Regime - Nicole Warne

When I first met Nicole, I instantly knew we would become friends. Her Gary Pepper Girl image is so much more than skin deep. Chic, polished, super clever and so so lovely and down to earth. A force to be reckoned with as a digital creative, consultant and influencer in equal measure, she also packs an eyeliner flick that is impossibly perfect (readers may appreciate my obsession and as yet unfulfilled potential in this field).

As a client, she is an absolute dream. Ultra discerning, engaged and always trying to understand more about what we are doing in treatment. With out of this world skin. Here's more from Nicole ... MGx

What is the first thing you do in the morning?

My business is built through digital so I always check my Instagram and emails while making breakfast and my morning coffee.

What is your morning skincare regime?

I use Cosmedix Benefit Clean, Aspect Multi-vitamin B serum or Skin Medica TNS serum, Actinica 50+ sunscreen and Results RX Eye Dr Eye Cream.

What is your evening skincare regime?

I use Cosmedix Benefit Clean, Cosmedix Serum 16 with Retinol, Aspect DR Resveratrol Moisturising Creme during spring/summer or Skin Medica Dermal Repair Cream for autumn/winter. If my skin needs more hydration, I’ll sleep in Cosmedix Rescue Balm and Mask.

What's the last thing you do before going to sleep?

I’ll check my Whatsapp threads with my friends, family and team back home, especially if I’m overseas for work.

What are the three skincare products you can't be without?

Right now, it's Cosmedix Benefit Clean, Actinica 50+ sunscreen and Results RX Eye Dr Eye Cream.

What are the three makeup products you can't be without?

Giorgio Armani Silk Foundation, Burberry Gel Eyebrow pencil and NARS Blush. I never leave the house without my eyebrows on.

Favourite body products?

Kiehls Creme de la Creme Body Lotion. I also alternate between different oils for my stretch marks.

Do you have any favourite skin or beauty secrets?

Just Melanie Grant.

What's your favourite treatment for your skin?

I travel often for work, so as soon as I land I see Mel for a treatment. We catch up over a customised facial which usually includes a deep cleanse and peel with hydration and antioxidant boosters or a gentle microdermabrasion finished with a light therapy session. Afterwards my skin feels clear from all the air pollution and I always leave with glowing skin after seeing Mel.

How do you maintain you skin whilst travelling?

My skin always reacts when I’m in New York - the air pollution takes it toll and my skin always feels dull. After cleansing, I’ll apply Skinceuticals C E Ferulic to protect my skin and also use exfoliating products like Cosmedix Purity Detox Scrub to keep it fresh.

What regular treatments do you do to maintain your complexion?

We change up the facials depending upon what my skin needs at the time but a microdermabrasion and light therapy facial are essentials for me.

What does your diet look like on a day to day basis?

I don’t diet but I eat very clean - just protein and vegetables and 3 litres of water every day. I recently stopped having refined sugar for various reasons, which has had incredible results for my energy levels and skin.

If you could go back in time and give your 20 something self advice, what would it be?

I’m currently 20 something so it’s hard to say! I’d tell my younger self to not sunbake, wear sunscreen every day and don’t be too proud to ask for help. I’ve always taken pride in the process of learning how to run my own business, but as I’m getting older I realise I’m surrounded by incredible businesswomen and men that are happy to help.

Tea or coffee?

Both.

Fave flower?

Peonies.

Heels or flats?

Heels.

Bucket list fashion buy?

My dream Chanel jacket I found in New York. It was the last one left in the United States but I couldn’t justify the $15,000 AUD price tag. I’m still dreaming about it.
