At just 22-years-old, you could say Natasha Liu Bordizzo is wise beyond her years. Warm, funny, and incredibly grounded, the Chinese-Italian Australian actress is best known for role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, but her fledgling career hasn’t stopped there. In fact, it’s a testament to her obvious and natural talent that she continues to go from strength to strength. Case in point: Natasha was recently announced as a cast member of The Greatest Showman, a film in which she will star alongside Hugh Jackman. While you might expect a budding superstar to be overly serious (she is a former law student, and black belt in Taekwondo, after all), I have always found Natasha’s personality—and her approach to skincare—to be disarmingly down to earth.
Right now it’s Gal Godot.

If you were a cocktail, you would be…
A lychee martini.

Coffee. And it’s 11pm. I have a problem.
What is the first thing that you do in the morning?
Drink a glass of water and if I’m feeling up to it I’ll do a short yoga session on my iPad before breakfast.
What is your morning skincare regime?
I start by cleansing my face with Cosmedix Purity Clean, then I follow up with serums. Depending on how my skin feels I’ll either apply Cosmedix Affirm Antioxidant Firming Serum or Aspect Dr Multi B Plus Serum — or both. I finish with a Chanel moisturiser and Cosmedix Reflect Antioxidant Moisturising Spray SPF 15 for sun protection.
What is your evening skincare regime?
I start with the same cleanser, follow with Cosmedix Clarity Serum to prevent sneaky blemishes forming overnight, and finish with a Chanel moisturiser. If I’m staying in a hotel, I’ll apply a very generous amount of moisturiser to combat the drying effects of the air-conditioning.
What’s the last thing that you do before going to sleep?
Cuddle my dog.

What are the three makeup products that you can’t be without?
Favourite body products?
Do you have any favourite skin or beauty secrets or tricks?
Aside from the obvious tips of drinking plenty of water and removing all your makeup before bed, I’ve found it surprising how essential exfoliating is. Especially considering I have never relied on it in the past. Also, regular exercise definitely helps clear my skin!
What is your favourite skin treatment?
The MG Regime Facial which usually involves some sort of mild exfoliation as I’m prone to clogged pores.
Favourite tips for travelling?
Be extra generous with the moisturiser, especially during flights. Follow your skincare routine religiously: you don’t want to skip taking care of your skin at a time when your body is more run-down than usual.
What’s your everyday makeup regime?
There’s a lot of heavy makeup involved in both acting and modeling, so I’ve naturally gravitated towards a very low-maintenance everyday regime. I use a little concealer, mascara and blush.
What regular treatments do you have to maintain your complexion?
Melanie's Light Therapy Facials!
What does your diet look like on a day to day basis?
To be honest there’s very little consistency. Especially due to constant travel … I need to work on making more of an effort to eat home-cooked food when I’m away.
Do you take any supplements?
I take MicrOrganics Green Superfoods, it’s a nutrient-rich and alkalising blend of spirulina, chlorella, barleygrass, alfalfa and organic marine plant minerals. They're Australian owned and has been recommended to me many times as the absolute best. In using it myself, I agree.
Plans for 2017?
To survive my schedule. [Laughs.] I’m grateful I have a busy year ahead. This includes relocating to Los Angeles for parts of the year to fully pursue acting.
